Town Names
A downloadable rpg resource
Town Names
A way to randomly generate town names. Built off of common town name suffixes and prefixes that I have noticed wandering the North East of the United States. A great resource for TTRPG's for renaissance, medieval, and modern settings.
How to use
Roll 1d100 3 times. Combine the results to get the town name.
Table One only has results for 1-20 due to not every town having a name like “Outer Gardenstead”. All rolls above 20 can be ignored for Table One.
Table Two and Three have two columns of results. Use the result of Table One to select the column. If the result on Table One is Even select from the First Column. If Odd select from the Second Column.
Example: Our first rolls are 35 - 23 - 19 making our town called “Cranberry Corners”.
On our second roll we get 4 - 30 - 52 making our second town “Fort Deerhook”.
